Pirate Mimi- We hope you might grace us with your presence at the event below-
Calling all landlubbers, scallywags and swashbucklers, the H. Lee White Marine Museum is proud to present an exciting evening of mayhem and frivolity, the Pirates Parrrty set for Saturday, October 27, 2007.
Step back in time to when pirates and privateers sailed the seas. Join your ship and crew on this evening’s adventure, greet the great Pirate King and his Queen and assist in his quest for secret treasure.
This exciting adult evening will be held at the American Foundry and the festivities begin at 7 pm. Tickets are still available contact the Marine Museum.
Music will abound with jigs and line dances of old, alongside games of chance. Join the Treasure Hunt led by the finest swashbucklers that could be found this side of the seven seas. Carouse with sailors, as their stories of eras gone by will sure stir your inner pirate.
In addition a Not so Silent Auction will take place and specialty professional photos will be offered by David DePasquale of Positive Image. A tantalizing Caribbean menu buffet will satiate every landlubber’s palate. Two tokens for pirate’s beverages are included in the ticket price.
This is the second event fund raiser for the H. Lee White Marine Museum which is celebrating 25 years of service to our community this year. Last year, the Museum’s first gala was “A Titanic Affair”. The sold out event had guests from as far as Rochester, Syracuse and Connecticut and the Museum was able to expand its children’s programs for 2007.
Tickets are $65 per “pirate”. Pirate garb is strongly encouraged. Please contact the Marine Museum for more information at 315.342.0480 or check our website at: www.hleewhitemarinemuseum.com.
