TREASURE WASHED ASHORE
I am always amazed at what treasures wash ashore and am always intrigued as to why. So many, many perfect things come accidentally my way and I can't help but wonder how they were cut adrift.
I suppose I shouldn't complain. :)
The pictured dish is a favorite piece of mine. The pattern and colors call to me and it feels as smooth as a new bar of homemade soap.
The bottom marking says: Janine Solop, though so perfectly done that I can't tell if it's a factory mark or handmade.
But I don't look too deep or research too hard. I figure treasure was meant to be enjoyed.
Have YOU a piece of treasure to share?
